Sometime in the mid-1990s, I was co-hosting a morning show on LIVE95 in Biloxi with a couple of my best friends. One morning, Regis Philbin called our show to promote his appearance at one of the casinos on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We must have made quite the impression on Regis because he talked about us later that morning on his TV show.

The world lost Regis over the weekend at age 88. He was truly one of the world's greatest television entertainers and one genuinely nice guy.
