If you've ever traveled through a mountainous region of the United States most likely you've seen those emergency off ramps that go "up" when you're traveling down.
They are there to save drivers in case of an emergency when they can't stop due to some type of brake or mechanical failure.
Do they work? I've always wondered, yet certainly never wanted to test one out myself.
