I have been following The Hu for the past couple years but haven't been able to really get too much into their interesting Mongolian throat singing metal sound. Their singing always reminded me of a vocal version of a Jew's harp with that reverberated sound. I think the first song I ever heard of theirs was 'Wolf Totem'. Now that they throw Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach into the mix in this new video, you get a pretty kick ass version of the tune. Shaddix's vocals are a great combination with The Hu's sound as the Mongolian band has done at least a couple collaborations as they continue to march toward a more mainstream acceptance.
