As a kid in the 80s, the A-TEAM was of course a favorite appointment television show of mine. I still enjoy watching the reruns whenever I come across one. I was a little disappointed in the 2010 A-TEAM movie (actually not impressed at all). I was hoping it would be good and I probably would have preferred the original surviving cast members. A few years ago, there were rumors of a A-Team television show reboot. As much as I love the original cast, I don't think a reunion with them would work anymore as they have all aged a bit by now and without George Peppard (John 'Hannibal' Smith) who passed away in 1994, the original chemistry would be hard to re-create. A reboot, however, with a new cast might work. I would at least give it a chance.
Check out this English dude who was an ultra A-Team fan and attempted to track down the surviving original TV cast members to reunite them in the video below for a U.K. television show. His interviews with Dwight Schultz, Dirk Benedict and Mr. T were great. I never knew Schultz's H.M. Murdock was almost written out of the show halfway through the first episode. I think that would have been an incredibly huge mistake if they had gone through with it.
The English film crew borders on stalky/creepy trying to track down some of the cast members. Although he did get some good behind the scenes dirt on the show. The Mr. T. rap video was rather cringe worthy.
Definitely worth a watch if you were a fan of the A-TEAM.
