Walleye Win First Ever Kelly Cup Finals Game At The Huntington Center

Game three of the Kelly Cup Finals was last night at the Huntington Center (the first ever Kelly Cup Finals game at the arena). Toledo Walleye came in with a 2-0 deficit in the best of seven games series and needed a win. Despite going down 1-0, the Walleye rallied for an amazing four unanswered goals to bring the record-size crowd to their feet with a 4-1 defeat of the Newfoundland Growlers. The energy exhibited by both the fans and the players was incredible. Relive the final seconds of the game in the video below.

Game four and a chance to tie up the series takes place at the Huntington Center tomorrow night and the final game of the 2018-2019 season in Toledo will be Saturday night before the series returns to St. Johns Newfoundland for games six and seven if necessary.

We have Hockeytown just 45 minutes up I-75 and our Toledo fans are just as fanatical (if not more) so I propose T-Town be renamed 'Hockeytown South'. Or 'South Hockeytown'? What do you think?
