Hailie Deegan will make her first ARCA Menards Series start in this Sunday's Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 at Toledo Speedway on Sunday afternoon and attempt to become the first female driver to win a race in the 67-year history of the series. 17-year-old Deegan, who is the daughter of Brian Deegan of X Games fame, has already made some history in winning a couple of NASCAR K&N Pro Series events which earned her a chance to showcase her talents in the ARCA series. Toledo Speedway's event will mark the first of six races she will run in ARCA this season. We talked to Deegan last night about all the attention she has been getting and how she is prepared going into this weekend's event. Listen below
