Tempers Flare At Toledo Speedway Over The Weekend

If you weren't at Toledo Speedway's Rollie Beale Classic on Sunday, you missed a lot. There was the big wreck in the non-wing sprint feature, but before that, we almost had some fisticuffs on the front stretch after the USAC Silver Crown feature. Second place finisher Bobby Santos was a little displeased with the way fellow racer Aaron Pierce had raced him. During his post-race interview, Santos called out Pierce and challenged him to fight on the front stretch. "Let's lift the fists," Santos challenged. Both drivers competed in the non-wing sprint feature right after, with Santos ending up tumbling end over end down the front stretch in a nasty wreck on lap three.
