So the mayors of Toledo and Cincinnati have entered a lame wager as to which city's hockey team will win the second round ECHL playoff series as the Toledo Walleye take on the Cincinnati Cyclones. The wager goes something like this...if the Cincinnati Cyclones win, Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz will have to send a care package from Tony Packo's to Cincy Mayor John Cranley. If the Toledo Walleye win, Cranley will send Kapszukiewicz coney dogs. This sounds like an absolute wienerfest to me and not a real wager. They should have made it so that winning team's mayor gets to whip the losing teams mayor with their city's wieners...I mean chili/coney dogs. On second thought, that isn't a good idea either. The losing team's mayor should have to be subjected to some embarrassing act though, as opposed to being rewarded with food from the winning city.
Game one of the seven game series is tonight in Cincinnati.
