Canadien's Goalie Carey Price Fulfills Dying Mom's Promise To Her Son

This is another one of the reasons I love the sport of hockey. It can be a violent and entertaining sport, but its players can have a lot of heart. Much respect goes out to Montreal Canadiens' goalie Carey Price who fulfilled a dying mom's promise to her son that she would do everything she could to have her son, Anderson Whitehead, meet Carey Price. Unfortunately Anderson's mom, 44-year-old Laura McKay, passed away after a second fight with breast cancer back in November of last year. Anderson's other family members were finally able to arrange the meeting after a morning skate this past weekend in Toronto. You can see Carey Price embrace 11-year-old Anderson after shedding some of his goalie attire. Price signed Anderson's jersey and continued to give the boy a bunch of signed hockey swag. It was a pretty cool deal and something I am sure Anderson will never forget.
