The Sandusky Register reports a new nail salon in Perkins Township is "rubbing some people the wrong way" but it probably isn't what you think. The Hand Jobs Nail & Spa sign at 220 West Perkins Ave is drawing quite a bit of attention, which I am pretty sure why that name was chosen for the business. A permit for the sign was turned in yesterday and once the zoning department gets it, it will be reviewed to see if it violates any rules on indecency, but deciding what is indecent can be up to interpretation. My favorite line from the Sandusky Register's article is owner Dawn Moon's quote, "My job is someone else's hands. That is what I do." Hand Jobs is set to open on Monday.
