As cold as it is today and tomorrow, it is nowhere near some of the coldest recorded temperatures ever recorded on earth. It may be some of the coldest locally in the NW Ohio area, but to put things in perspective, (spoiler alert) the it could be -135.8 degrees Fahrenheit like it was in Antarctica. That is more than 100 degrees colder than this current polar vortex. Makes it seem like today is almost tropical, relatively speaking. I am trying to look at the bright side and be an optimist. I thought that might warm me up. It didn't work. It is still flippin' cold outside even if it isn't quite Antarctica cold.
