I saw some random things about a dirt late model movie called Trading Paint starring John Travolta and Shania Twain and thought it was some fake news or parody since I couldn't find an actual movie trailer for it. Then I did some more digging and read about some filming done on the dirt short track at Talladega awhile back. Also read that Travolta actually learned how to drive a dirt late model and does so in the film. Finally, I actually found a movie trailer for this today which you can watch below. Now I am not a big John Travolta or Shania Twain fan, but as you probably can tell I am a huge fan of dirt late model racing. For that reason alone I will probably see this movie and be disappointed in its depiction of dirt late model racing and complain about how far from actual dirt late model racing it actually is. I base this conclusion on at least one scene in the movie trailer. I hope I am wrong and I will have to watch this flick either way. Maybe Nicholas Cage will make a cameo and Travolta is actually playing his character from Face/Off. Wait, did his character die in that movie? I can't remember. Anyway, Trading Paint hits select theaters in the US and Spain on February 22.
