Racing Season To Begin New Year's Day In Sandusky

So about ten years ago I decided to check out this race I had heard about a few years prior which was the annual New Year's Day Hangover Race at Sandusky Speedway which never gets rained or snowed out. It was one of the most fun racing events I had ever attended watching these crazy drivers try to navigate around the Sandusky Speedway in whatever Mother Nature had to throw at them on the first day of January, all the while dodging snowballs thrown at them from the crowd. Yes, this was/is allowed (and almost encouraged) during yellow flags. Heck, some years, if you can hit the flag man, you will get a free hot dog!

A few years after attending my first Hangover Race was when I bought my own race car. Having made the purchase in the fall, my first race ever as a car owner was the 2013 Hangover Race at Sandusky. Yes, I had become one of those crazy drivers who had snowballs hurled at them...and it was an absolute blast! So much so, I did it again in 2014 (video below). But due to engine issues after each of those races, I went back to being a spectator for the next few years. This year, I am once again contemplating racing the 2019 Hangover Race. Help me decide with my Facebook poll further down this page.
