I get a lot of unsolicited emails from bands, promoters of bands, etc., touting their "great" new music. Since I do like to check out new music, I sometimes indulge to hear what they have and most times I end up disappointed. So I was pleasantly surprised upon discovering Detroit's own female fronted band, Eva Under Fire. They have a sound similar to Flyleaf or Skillet. Eva Under Fire has a new album coming out September 7th called Heavy On The Heart. The first track is a pretty straight ahead rocker called 'Misery'. That is followed by the inspirational anthem 'The Strong'. There is even a U2 cover that is pretty good, and I am not much of a U2 fan.
Check Eva Under Fire out for yourself.
