So I have been posting a lot about the mysterious nature onthe future of the former Mean Streak roller coaster at Cedar Point (which is opening up this weekend). There has been a lot of speculation about the construction going on there as it appears Mean Streak is being transformed into a new roller coaster. I think this intrigues me because I am a huge roller coaster fan and I like a good mystery. What has made things even stranger is this video I came across this morning entitled RMC Mean Streak 2018 - Cedar Point. The title is not the strange thing, but more so, when this video was uploaded. February 2, 2015! Almost two years before the last ride was given on the Mean Streak. RMC supposedly stands for Rocky Mountain Construction which is a builder of roller coasters. Since the construction is ongoing and most likely will continue during the summer, the speculation is this new coaster won't open until 2018. So how did this guy make such an accurate appearing virtual ride on this new coast more than two years ago? Watch the video and take a ride on what could be the new layout of the former Mean Streak, inversions and all.
