Speedway 51 in Groveton, NH hosted the Winter Blast 100 this past weekend with five inches of snow on the ground. Check out how many competitors showed up for this as well as how many fans are in the stands. I am guessing a lot of the fans came in support of the racers, but that looks fun as hell! Some of those cars look extremely stock, straight off the road. This is very reminiscent of the annual Hangover Race at Sandusky Speedway on New Year's Day, but maybe we could get a few more events like this closer to home here in NW Ohio. I am looking at you Toledo Speedway, Oakshade Raceway, Fremont Speedway, Attica Speedway, Millstream Speedway and/or Flat Rock Speedway.
Although with the lack of snow this year, I think this wouldn't be as much fun...maybe the tracks can borrow snow makers from the ski resorts?
