So there is a super huge dirt racing event this weekend. Yep, in December. The VP Racing Fuels Gateway Dirt Nationals have taken over the Dome at America's Center in downtown St. Louis. It is the first indoor stock car race since 1982, featuring Super Late Models and Open Wheel Modifieds. With 400 teams registered from all over the US and even Canada, this should be a pretty huge dirt track racing event...and maybe some more indoor sporting facilities would consider similar events in the future. Too bad the Pontiac Silverdome is in a state of disrepair as that would make a pretty good venue for something like this.

Cars have to make their way from the convention center/pits on to the St. Louis streets and back into the dome to get on to the track. I hope it doesn't rain/snow!
