Via boston.cbs.local. The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced that ticket sales for the 122nd U.S. Open Championship to be held June 13-19th at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass. will go on sale this Friday.
For golfers, this is a bucket list tournament to attend. The three previous USGA Championships played at The Country Club were all decided in 18 hole playoffs, won by Francis Ouimet in 1913, Julius Boros in 1963, and Curtis Strange in 1988.
Weekly ticket packages will be available starting Friday. Some of the offerings include a Weekly Gallery Ticket for three practice round days and the four championship round days, “The Garden” level that comes with access to the club, and “The Cabana” for “private, luxury seating.” That has to come with bottle service, right? What a Father's Day gift!
