Dave Grohl spent his birthday (January 14th) in the best way — giving back to those in need.

In the wake of the horrific ongoing Los Angeles fires, Grohl did his part to help cook up some food for people who lost everything. Volunteering with Feed The Streets, an organization which he is no stranger to, Dave set up shop in the streets of LA to make some chili for displaced families, firefighters and other first responders on the frontlines.

In a video posted to the official Feed The Streets Instagram stories, fans can see Grohl stirring a big pot of chili, and in another clip, he is pushing prepared meals to get them to anyone who needs them.

The devastating fires around Los Angeles have forced so many residents to evacuate, and has taken away homes, personal belongings and so much more for many others. Grohl joins other celebrities who are jumping in to make a difference, including Paris Hilton, Halle Berry and more.
