Donald Trump Demands Kamala Harris Takes Cognitive Test

Former President Donald Trump demanded Vice President Kamala Harris take a cognitive test, claiming his 2024 presidential election opponent is "totally bonkers" and suggesting there may be something "very wrong with her" in a post shared on his Truth Social account Monday (October 14) morning.

"I believe it is very important that Kamala Harris pass a test on Cognitive Stamina and Agility," Trump wrote. "Her actions have led many to believe that there could be something very wrong with her."

Trump, 78, specifically referenced Harris' recent 60 Minutes interview, which his campaign had previously demanded CBS News release an "unedited transcript" for.

"Even 60 Minutes and CBS, in order to protect Lyin’ Kamala, illegally and unscrupulously replaced an answer she had given, which was totally 'bonkers,' with another answer that had nothing to do with the question asked," he added. "Also, she is slow and lethargic in answering even the easiest of questions. We just went through almost four years of that, we shouldn’t have to do it again!"

Trump's claim came days after Harris, 59, publicly released a medical report from White House physician Joshua Simmons stating that she was in "excellent health" and "possesses the physical and mental resiliency" to serve as president ahead of the 2024 election. Trump regularly took shots at President Joe Biden's mental ability before Biden's decision to end his re-election campaign, but hasn't released his own health information since an assassination attempt in July.

Trump's campaign spokesperson, Steven Cheung, has publicly stated that the former president voluntarily released updates from his personal physician and prior medical reports, which he claimed "have concluded he is in perfect and excellent health to be Commander in Chief," via the New York Post.
