Winter storm blasts Northwest Ohio, expected accumulation of 10-12 inches

A major winter storm, named Uri has smashed snow records in the state of Texas and continues to spread snow and potentially damaging ice from the South into parts of the Midwest including Ohio through Tuesday night. Uri will finish up in the Northeast on Tuesday snowfall and some ice can be expected from parts of upstate New York. The city of Toledo is using private contractors to help clear snow on residential streets in the city.
