Sylvania resident Olive Ward was the unfortunate victim of the area's first serial killer Return Ward. Yes, sadly she was murdered by her own husband back in 1857. Not only murdered, but dismembered. It's a horrific story. Apparently Olive never left the fine city of Sylvania. She was rumored to have been sighted at the Executive Cafe. The cafe had the dubious honor of being built on the site of where she was murdered. Not only does poor Olive wander Sylvania, her awful husband apparently haunts many Sylvania businesses. The actual crime was pretty gruesome. I would hope the poor woman would be able to find some peace away from that horrible, evil, man in the afterlife.
