Day 3 of the 31 days of haunting takes us to the Oliver House in Downtown Toledo. The Oliver House was built as a high end hotel back in 1859. It has the distinction of the only building in Toledo that has consistently been in use since it's completion. It's been a high end hotel, a boarding house, and even a medical center for the wounded during the Spanish American War. Thousands of Lucas County residents volunteered to fight in the short war, and were brought back here to recuperate. With so much history and people coming through it's doors, it's no wonder some guests of the Oliver House never left! I've actually taken the Haunted Brew tour, it's really cool. You should go check it out for yourself!
