Oktoberfest 2019 kicks off this weekend in Munich, Germany. The festival began in 1810 as a celebration of the marriage of King Ludwig to Princess Therese. There was horse racing, beer, wine, and general civility. The festival went public in 1811 and heavily promoted Bavarian Agriculture. There were games, food, and beer! Over the years it became more of a carnival like atmosphere with beer as the focus. Now in 2019 people come from all over the world to essentially vomit in the streets of Munich. As Marge Simpson once said, " My drinking is problem is out of control! At Oktoberfest all I could think about was beer! I couldn't even celebrate the harvest!" Enjoy these Oktoberfest fails.
