Muse Leads "Uprising," Closes Out iHeartRadio ALTer EGO with Epic Set

Muse 2019 iHeartRadio ALTer EGO

This year's iHeartRadio ALTer EGO came to an absolutely EPIC end, because the incredible Muse closed the show with an amazing performance. Time and time again, Muse has proven what unbelievably talented live performers they are, and iHeartRadio ALTer EGO was no exception.

Between Matt Bellamy's gorgeous falsetto, the high energy of his bandmates, and the beautiful melodic nature of Muse's music, the performance was the perfect ending to an already awesome show.

Muse started off their set with their song "Pressure," followed by "Psycho." But one of the highlights of their performance was during "Uprising." A fan favorite, there was a point during the song where Bellamy let everyone at The Forum sing in unison — a true uprising.

Other songs performed by Muse throughout the end of the show included songs from their new album, Simulation Theory, like "Thought Contagion," and other fan favorites like "Madness," "Supermassive Black Hole," "Time Is Running Out," and "Starlight."

Speaking of "Time Is Running Out," during the last song of the night, Bellamy picked up the clock that was on stage and turned it over ... because time never runs out on Muse.

Muse had an exciting 2018 which saw the release of their eighth full-length studio album Simulation Theory. The LP includes singles like "Dig Down," "Thought Contagion," "Something Human" and more. And now, the guys are about to hit the road on their massive "Simulation Theory World Tour."
