NW Ohioans Help With Hurricane Relief

(Toledo, OH)  The best of NW Ohio are on their way south to help out with hurricane relief.

Northwest Ohioans are being called on to provide relief once Hurricane Michael passes through Florida. 

Deputy Toledo Fire Chief John Kaminski was deployed Wednesday as part of an emergency management team that will provide guidance and logistical support in disaster areas. 

Also deploying from NW Ohio, Toledo Edison officials say 20 line workers are heading to Georgia to help restore power.

The Ohio Air National Guard is helping at home by harboring ten F-16 fighters from a base in Alabama.  

Alabama's 187th Fighter Wing thanked the 108th Fighter Wing on Facebook for being such gracious hosts.
