New Hepatitis A Outbreak Reported

(Toledo, OH)  A Toledo eatery will reopen today after a hepatitis A outbreak, but public health officials issued a warning anyway.

Lucas County health officials say Dave and Buster's near Franklin Park Mall underwent a thorough cleaning after a food handler contracted the virus.

Anyone who ate at the restaurant between March First and March 29th is urged to watch for symptoms, which include nausea, jaundice and joint pain.

Hepatitis A  is most commonly spread from person to person and can spread through contaminated food or water, but not through coughing or sneezing.
