Murder Charges for Teen in Road Rage Beating Death

(Toledo, OH) Lucas County prosecutors are planning to upgrade charges against a teenager they say beat a man to death.

23-year old Thomas Lehman died Thursday of injuries suffered this past weekend in an apparent road rage incident at Laskey and Douglas roads. A friend told police Lehman pulled off the road Saturday night to allow a car to pass after its occupants began flipping him off. But the other car pulled off, too.

Friends say the single father suffered a beating witnessed by his daughter-- kicked and punched several times, which police say led to his death. According to his Facebook page, the Whitmer High school graduate had just started a job last spring as a carpenter with a Sylvania home-builder.

The teenager suspect had been charged with felonious assault, but that's expected to increase to murder.
