Whitesnake will always be associated with Tawny Kitaen dancing all over a white Jaguar. It turns out, that 1986 White Jaguar XJ actually belonged to Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale. Did you know he still has that car? It's kept in a climate controlled garage. He almost sold it about 25 years ago but thankfully that deal fell through. When the band decided to include the iconic car in their "Shut Up and Kiss Me" video, people were more excited to see the car than to see David Coverdale. Coverdale was a good sport about people wanting pictures on the car ala Tawny. He said, "just take your shoes off girls". Good call.
Here's the most famous of the car's 1987 Whitesnake video appearances. Ah, the good ol' days.
