Tom Cruise is back as Maverick in the long awaited sequel to 1986's blockbuster Top Gun. The first trailer was finally released for Top Gun: Maverick which is due to hit theaters next year. I am not a big Tom Cruise fan, but I did watch the original Top Gun movie many times as a kid. Yeah, as much as I hate to admit it, I did even like the soundtrack which I think added to the original movie's success. Cruise and Ed Harris (who have aged a bit since 1986) are featured in the first trailer that even features some of the theme music score from the original movie. Yeah, I will probably go see it.
