Remember that scene in "Stand By Me" where the kids get caught on the bridge and have to run away from a train? Two women in Southern Indiana recently re-enacted that with near-fatal consequences. They were walking across a 500-foot long bridge 80 feet above a shallow creek, a train had to cross, and they couldn't make it across in time and couldn't jump. So with the train just 30 feet away, they laid down in the tracks and the train went right over them.
