The phenomena known as the "hot dog race" has made its way to baseball parks across the country. In Kansas City, they give three kids the chance to race in between innings and put them in big hot dog costumes. On Sunday, the kid in the mustard costume looked poised to win, until the pants on the costume betrayed him. Despite the help of some of the Royals staff, the poor kid couldn't stay upright.
The crowd at Kaufmann Stadium did give him a standing ovation when he crossed the finish line.
