Jeff Francouer has spent 9 seasons in the major leagues and has presumably seen all sorts of clubhouse pranks. But somehow, he never saw this one coming. When he signed with the San Diego Padres this spring, the veteran outfielder found himself sent to the Padres' AAA affiliate, the El Paso Chihuahuas. The entire team got together and spent an entire month convincing Francouer that pitcher Jorge Reyes was deaf. Everyone, players, coaches and trainers were in on the joke. To Jeff's credit, he took the whole thing in stride. You've got to see the short film that documented one of the best sports pranks of all time.
